Madden 10 Battles Enable You Crunch Your Rival’s Bones, Bruise His Ego, and Empty His Financial institution Account

The soundtrack on PS3 Madden 10 is another facet that will get hardcore gamers going. Soundtracks have become synonymous with the games themselves, especially the Madden series. As a departure from other games, Madden 10 has decided to throw in some classics as well as current hits - and it will rock you. If you're not convinced, check out PS3 Madden 10's roster of songs: "Can't C Me" by 2Pac, "Heads are Gonna Roll" by Airbourne, "Them Bones" by Alice in Chains, "Created a Monster" by B.o.B, "Revolution" by Bang Camaro, "Sabotage" by Beastie Boys, "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath, "Get 'Em Up" by Cypress Hill, "Unsung" by Helmet, "Aces High" by Iron Maiden, "Painkiller" by Judas Priest, "I Am the Bullgod" by Kid Rock, "Reckoning" by Killswitch Engage, "Blind" by Korn, "Divinations" by Mastodon, "Hate Me Now" by Nas featuring Puff Daddy, "Breed" by Nirvana, "Walk" by Pantera, "Shut 'Em Down" by Public Enemy, "Guerrilla Radio" by Rage Against the Machine, "Gaia Bleeds (Make Way for Man)" by Set Your Goals, "Duality" by Slipknot, "Sugar" by System of a Down, "Before I Die" by The Vanity Plan," and "Cheah Beah" by Young Dre The Truth.

If that ain't enough to sell you on PS3 Madden 10, maybe a history lesson will help. Yeah, it may be a little much to rave about a current day game at the expense of the earliest football video games. But when you look at the old versus the new, you can truly appreciate the epic nature of PS3 Madden 10. Obviously, football video games were on every gamer's wish list when the first console games were out there. Only thing was, video game consoles and cartridges didn't have the capabilities to match the needs of the typical hardcore gamer, so everyone had to take what they could get. To try to generate excitement, the creators of this one insisted it featured "all the excitement" of actual football. And since it was the only game in town, this is what passed for the gridiron. Those players don't even look human. There's no getting around that one As crude-looking as that picture is, it's even worse when you see the game in action. This one, like all early games, suffered from the "blinking graphics" syndrome, due to low programming capacity. The sound effects were just brutal. And worse, the screen didn't even scroll. Soon after, this one was given a run for its money with the competition. This next one was a valiant attempt to make a more realistic football video game. Still needed work, though.

Yes, people were pretty stoked to see some improvements, but this wasn't the sports video game to put sports video games on top. That wouldn't come until several years down the line. This one was a big innovation for football video games, and has fans who still swear by it. For a long time, it was the gold standard by which football video games were held.

Makes sense that it was so revered by the hardcore gamer - it really was the first true attempt to recreate the NFL. Everything - sound, visuals - got such a major upgrade that this was the final word in sports video games. It's even got a presence in the gaming world today, thanks to its online comeback. Yet, it's still a poor man's PS3 Madden 10. When you've seen all the rest, now take a look at the best.

We've come a long way, and you, along with football video games, have been the largest beneficiary. That being said, time to lay off making fun of the older football video games. You get it. Those games, while archaic, got us to where we are today, and for that, they deserve their place in the video game hall of fame (though that first one may be better off in "video game hall of shame.") Of course, PS3 Madden 10 has really taken the ball and ran with it, which is cause for serious celebration in the video game world. Better yet, the reviewers share the same level of PS3 Madden 10 love as the fans, always a good thing. Comments like "realistic and enjoyable" pepper each PS3 Madden 10 review. Once again, EA Sports makes a win with PS3 Madden 10 - was there any doubt?

There's no debating it - PS3 Madden 10 is an all-time great sports video game. Not to disparage the other PlayStation sports video games - they're all pretty excellent in their own right, but PS3 Madden rules the playing field. For many, this is the PlayStation football game by which all others are measured. Along with its major popularity, this is also where you get to battle for bucks.

PlayStation Madden 10 aficionados now get to face off for big bucks. You'll be making touchdowns, and nabbing your foe's money, after you've educated yourself in all things Madden 10.
